What will I learn in Playschool?

Playschool is a two-week accelerator that combines live virtual and IRL events with self-directed online learning.

Our curriculum is anchored around the following key themes: sales, negotiation, productivity, systems, tools, mindsets and habits.

The biggest value add we give is in our B2B sales and business coaching, Abadesi will lead three hour-long live masterclasses and support you in one-on-one calls afterwards so you start closing bigger deals quicker and secure long-term partnerships.

How do I know if Playschool is for me?

Playschool is aimed at founders focused on B2B sales, who aim to build inclusive products, teams and communities.

Playschool participants must be prepared to practise introspection, be vulnerable amongst peers and engage in self-directed learning.

Playschool asks you to stretch your comfort zone regularly and put yourself in uncomfortable positions in pursuit of personal growth. If this sounds unappealing then this experience is not for you.

What is Playschool by Hustle Crew not?

Playschool does not currently award grants or funding to finalists. We hope to introduce pitch events and funding options in future and we are happy to introduce you to investors in the Hustle Crew community e.g. scouting you to Ada Ventures if it’s a good fit.

What if I don’t like Playschool?

Playschool isn’t for everyone and that’s OK. We hope some folks will think ‘this is just what I need’ and others will read this page and think ‘I don’t get this all’. We are happy with not being everything to everyone.

What will I gain from joining?

Playschool gives you direct access to Abadesi’s business and sales coaching in three group calls and three one-on-one calls over the two weeks the accelerator runs from Monday 30th September to Friday 11th October.

Your investment also includes an IRL celebration in London on Friday 11th October where a professional photographer will take group photos and new headshots for you.

Your investment gives you access to a learning library on Notion with Playschool lectures from Andy Ayim MBE, Micheal Berhane of POCIT / Techish, Tiwalola Ogunlesi of Confident & Killing It, Ash Phillips of Ada Ventures and Business Coach Jaz Marfo plus worksheets to complete in your own time.

Are there limited spots, and if so, what is your selection criteria?

Playschool is partly funded by Hustle Crew with no external sponsors and so we only have a limited number of spots available. We are keeping the cohort small to facilitate deep connection.

Playschoolers will be selected based on their applications via a decision-making framework designed to reduce bias and create a cohort with aligned objectives.

How much does Playschool cost?

Your investment in Playschool includes:

• Access to Playschool’s learning library on Notion with lectures from our experts on topics including ‘Essential Entrepreneur Mindsets’, ‘Essential Entrepreneur Habits’, ‘B2B Sales Masterclass’ plus worksheets and activities to complete in your own time.

• A live hour-long group masterclass led by Abadesi including homework to complete in your own time (usually £150 per person) on Mon 30th September, Tue 2nd October and Mon 7th October.

• Your very own half-hour one-on-one coaching session led by Abadesi including homework to complete in your own time (usually £100 per person), you will get three of these between Mon 30th September and Friday 11th October.

• A wrap up social event in central London on the afternoon of Friday 11th October where you can meet the cohort and Hustle Crew community of mentors and investors.

• New headshots taken by a professional photographer at the wrap up social event in central London (usually £125 per person).

• The total cost of Playschool is £500 + VAT (terms & conditions apply).

How many founders can join Playschool’s 2024 cohort and when is the deadline to apply?

• Playschool 2024 is limited to only twenty founders, once spaces are filled we will stop accepting applications.

• Final deadline to apply is Wednesday 25th September but applications will close sooner if all places are filled.
